UNRWA launches polio vaccine campaign in Gaza after 1st case in 25 years

The United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestine refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) says it is preparing to launch a polio vaccine campaign in Gaza. The organization says polio vaccines have arrived, with the vaccination campaign set to get underway on Sunday. Roughly 640,000 children under the age of 10 are expected to be vaccinated as part of the campaign. The move comes after a baby contracted the first confirmed case in the Palestinian territory in 25 years.
