Update on upcoming ban on dark vehicle tints

The tint meters required as part of enforcement of the coming ban for dark tints on motor vehicles are not yet in Barbados. This was revealed in a Ministerial Statement by Attorney General Dale Marshall. On September 19 Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley announced that dark tints on motor vehicles will be outlawed as a crime fighting measure. Mr. Marshall provided an update on the acquisition of the meters needed. He adds that the Debate on amendments to the Road Traffic Act will be delayed until early January.
