Updated provided on Barbados-Guyana food terminal
Since receiving one thousand black belly sheep from Barbados, Guyana is working with dozens of its farmers as efforts continue to create a lamb brand in the CARICOM state. Minister of Agriculture, Zulfikar Mustapha in providing the update says the number of sheep has since increased. It is hope the brand could replace the imported ones from New Zealand. Mr. Mustapha also updated on efforts pertaining to plans for a Barbados-Guyana food terminal. The facility will be located at Lears, St Michael.
