UPDF investigates torture allegations against soldiers

The UPDF has confirmed that it is investigating allegations that its soldiers tortured two men working with the UPDF Engineering Brigade to refurbish the Mandela National Stadium in Namboole. The two men, Donald Opio and Emmanuel Oluka accuse the army of torturing them since December 17, 2023, on allegations that they were involved in stealing copper wires used in the building works.
