UPDF officer shoots lover, commits suicide in Kampala

A Uganda People’s Defence Forces officer shot himself dead after shooting and severely injuring his estranged lover in Lusaka Zone, Makindye Division, Kampala. The woman died in the hospital where she was rushed. Police have identified the officer as Corporal Collins Andebo, attached to Makindye Military Police barracks, while the woman has been identified as Peroni Atulinda, a civilian support staff who has been working with the military police.
