URA's “illegal” taxation of SACCOs - UCSCU to drag URA to the tax appeal tribunal.

Uganda Cooperative Savings and Credit Union has decried the continued illegal taxation by Uganda Revenue Authority despite the presidential directive mandating URA not to tax, savings and credit cooperatives, SACCOs. SACCOs blame Uganda Revenue Authority for forcefully deducting taxes off their accounts. These have threatened to take URA's director general to court for contempt of the law.
