URA starts exercise to waive penalties on e-receipts

The Uganda Revenue Authority has started a week-long exercise, starting today, of waiving penalties that some traders incurred after failing to issue e-receipts and e-invoices. The move follows a directive from President Museveni, tasking URA to suspend EFRIS penalties.
