Urban planning to address bad weather conditions

A new bill that is open for comment lays the groundwork for workable coalitions in municipalities. Many South African cities have seemingly been crippled by shifting coalitions and loyalties since the local government elections in 2021 that produced 81 hung municipal councils. It comes at a time when municipalities are dealing with major challenges such as infrastructure.
