US and Australian conservatives look toward supporting the ‘working poor’

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says politics in the United States is also happening in Australia with conservatives looking more toward the “working poor”. “What we are seeing in American politics, particularly with Donald Trump is also happening here, in the US the Trump Republicans, conservatives, they are looking more to the working poor,” Mr Bolt said. “In Australia that is increasingly what our conservative parties are doing, the Liberals and the Nationals, while Labor becomes the party of the inner-city elites.”
