US election: Donald Trump may have edge in key battleground state Pennsylvania, says analyst
Republican candidate Donald Trump may have an advantage in Pennsylvania, with about 89 per cent of the ballots counted, says Patrick Basham, founding director of DC-based think tank Democracy Institute. At the moment, he is slightly ahead at 51 per cent and Democratic rival Kamala Harris is lagging behind at 48 per cent. Basham tells CNA’s Simon Marks that the field is tilting towards Trump in the remaining counties as well. Pennsylvania has 19 electoral votes - the most of any battleground state.
