US government is ‘fundamentally broken’

Perth USAsia Centre Professor Gordon Flake says the US government system is “fundamentally broken”. There are fears the US government could be heading towards a shutdown. This comes after US President-elect Donald Trump opposed and criticised a funding bill by House Speaker Mike Johnson.
