US insurance companies sued over unlawfully collecting driving data of 45 million Americans

Sky News host James Macpherson discusses an “interesting” court case in the US where data gathered from driver's habits in monitored vehicles is being used to adjust insurance premiums. “There is an interesting court case in the US at the moment where the state of Texas is suing the insurance company Allstate,” Mr Macpherson said. “They have been tracking 45 million people as they drive their cars.”
