Users undeterred by higher ride-hailing, food delivery platform fees

Those who use ride-hailing and food delivery platforms frequently said they are undeterred by fee hikes, which kick in today. They said it's a small price to pay in exchange for greater benefits for workers. The fee increase — ranging from 20 to 50 cents — comes as a new law mandates that operators provide more labour protection for platform workers. Claudia Lim reports.
