UWC blames technical glitches for non-payment

The University of the Western Cape says it's investigating a glitch that’s delayed payment of students on its work-study programme. More than 1,200 tutors, assistant lecturers and student assistants have not received their salaries since March. Some claim they haven’t been paid at all this academic year.
