UWI Cave Hill issued key medicinal cannabis licence

The Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies has been issued the first medicinal cannabis licence for research and development in Barbados. The revelation was made by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security Terry Bascombe at a presentation ceremony held by the Barbados Medicinal Cannabis Licensing Authority at the 3W's Oval today.
