Valencia fans get eight-month prison sentences for racist insults against Vinicius Jr | ABS-CBN News

Three Valencia football fans were sentenced to eight months in prison on Monday (June 10) for racist insults against Real Madrid player Vinicius Jr. "The ruling handed down today, which is final, establishes as proven that the three defendants insulted Vinicius with shouts, gestures and chants referring to the colour of his skin," the court said in a statement. The sentence found the defendants guilty of a crime against moral integrity with aggravating circumstances of discrimination for racist motives and mitigating circumstances of repentance.
