VALUING THE VOICE OF TEACHERS AS PROGRESSIVE EDUCATORS

The Saint Lucia Teachers Union's (SLTU) 2024 annual conference keynote speaker, Betty Charles, called for teachers' voices to be heard and valued in the decision-making processes that affect their profession. This year's convention was held on October 2, 2024, at the Gros-Islet human resource center under the UNESCO theme: "Valuing Teachers' Voices as Inclusive and Progressive Educators."
