Vending banned on walkways, road shoulders - Enforcement to be more systematic and tougher

Minister for Works and Transport, Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala, has cautioned people against trading on walkways and road reserves, saying it is illegal and anyone apprehended conducting any business on these gazetted areas will face the long arm of the law. Gen. Katumba says a circular has been issued to the relevant authorities for enforcement purposes, and this includes instructions on the usage of the Kampala flyover.
