Veteran educator says education reform is imperative
A veteran educator says education reform for Barbados is imperative. This is according to former principal Alwyn Adams who says there are some constraining areas in relation to the island's fatally flawed education system. And he says looking at the primary school system in isolation is counterproductive as education reform is one of the defining issues of this decade for Barbados. Mr. Adams also notes there will be nothing greater to the country than providing quality education for all Barbadians. He was speaking as a guest on Q 100.7 F.M. radio show Let's Talk About It. And Mr. Adams says one of the things to consider is the historical development of the system, how it came about and how to structure it in a coherent way.
