Victoria’s frustration with the Allan government could cost Albanese the federal election

Victoria’s frustration with the current state government could cost Anthony Albanese the federal election. This is according to former Victorian Liberal premier Jeff Kennett, who believes the level of anger residents feel towards Jacinta Allan could see a number of federal seats in the state fall towards the Coalition. This comes after Brad Battin was elected the new Liberal leader on Friday after John Pesutto faced growing pressure from MPs to step aside.
