Victorian paramedics secure new pay deal

Victoria's paramedics have accepted an in-principle pay deal from the Allan government - ending six months of disputes. It includes wage increases of between 16.98 and 33 per cent over four years. Paramedics will only be contacted for life-threatening emergencies during the last hour of their shift -in a bid to reduce forced overtime.
