Victorians warned of thunderstorm asthma season ahead

Victorians suffering with asthma and allergies are being warned of an extreme pollen season ahead. The National Asthma Council says the dry winter paired with current predicted rainfall for October to December may cause rapid grass growth. Rapid grass growth can lead to extreme pollen levels and trigger both seasonal allergies and asthma attacks. The 2016 thunderstorm asthma disaster in Melbourne claimed 10 lives.
