Video shows shocking assault on Crown prosecutor outside BC courthouse

Global News has obtained video of a violent attack on a Crown prosecutor in Vancouver, images the victim says she wants the public to see. The random attack happened in February, near the Vancouver Provincial Court at 222 Main Street. The video shows a man suddenly punching the prosecutor, whose identity is protected by a publication ban, in the face. The attack happened despite the fact the prosecutor was accompanied by an unarmed security guard at the time as a part of a Crown counsel “safewalk” program. Global's Kristen Robinson reports.
