Violence on Mexico-US border: Mexico says increasing enforcement at crossing

Record numbers of migrants have crossed into the United States’ southern border this year. Nearly 2.5 million people are reported to have crossed in 2023 with a record of nearly 10,000 in a single day. After discussions between Mexico and the US, migrants on the border say Mexico has started imposing harsher measures on those trying to make the journey. Al Jazeera’s Imogen Kimber reports.
