The Electoral Commission recently held a stakeholders’ meeting for the Karamoja sub-region, focusing on the update and display of the National Voters Register and the compilation of registers for special interest groups. The Electoral Commission officer for the Karamoja sub-region Linos Okori highlighted concerns about insecurity, primarily caused by pastoralists moving in search of water and pasture.
