Voters ‘lean towards’ Trump because of ‘distrust’ in Democrat establishment

International relations contributor Paul Monk says voters are “leaning towards” Donald Trump because they “distrust” the Democrat establishment. The first debate between US President Joe Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump was held last week. “Too many people, too many voters, I think, are leaning towards Trump because they distrust the Democratic establishment,” Mr Monk told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “That establishment is facing a debacle of its own making. “They haven’t shown enough forward vision; they haven’t brought forward the people who would constitute a really gripping or compelling leadership ticket.”
