VP ALUPO TELLS ATEKER PEOPLE TO ABANDON NOMADIC PASTORALISM AND START COMMERCIAL AGRICULTURE

The Vice President Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo has urged the Ateker people to abandon nomadic pastoralism and promote commercial agriculture for a sustainable livelihood. The Vice President also Katakwi district Woman MP said, the initiative will address persistent food insecurity and increase family income among the Ateker communities. She was speaking at the ongoing Ateker reunion festival at her country home in Oigo Imomwa village, Aketa parish, Ongongoja subcounty in Katakwi district.
