The wage bill to revenue ratio in the country continues to be a headache even as President William Ruto sets sight on appointing new SRC commissioners. In the end of their term report, outgoing SRC chairperson Lyn Mengich has called for more efforts to reduce the wage bill in a bid to ensure the country meets the June 2028 35% wage bill to revenue ratio target.
