Warning signs for hearing problems in children

An audiologist is highlighting some of the signs parents should look out for to determine if their child has a hearing problem. Dr. Mariella Stabler was a guest on Mornin' Barbados, ahead of a health fair hosted by the Baha'i Faith in Barbados, of which she is a member. The health fair runs from 3 to 5 p.m. today, as the Bahai Faith begins the festival Ofa Ayyám-i-há, during which members focus on fellowship, feasting and acts of service. In observance of this, the fair, being held at the National Baha'i Centre in 2nd Avenue Belleville, will feature free hearing screenings, as well as blood pressure and blood sugar checks.
