WASTE RECYCLING IN KAMPALA SET TO TAKE OFF

Kampala Capital City Authority is set to launch a new waste recycling initiative in Mukono Ddudu come July 2024.  The initiative aims to transform organic solid waste from markets and plastic waste from the public into revenue-generating products. The Minister for Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs, Hajjat Minsa Kabanda, disclosed this information while accepting donated dustbins from investors.  These dustbins will assist in managing the escalating levels of solid waste in the city.
