WATER PRODUCTION AT FFRYES BEACH RO PLANT TO BE DOUBLED BY JANUARY, 2025

The additional reverse osmosis plant being installed at Ffryes Beach is to be completed by the end of January, 2025, and is set to significantly improve supply in southern sections of Antigua. The project is being carried out by Florida-based Seven Seas Water Group, which signed a 12-year Build-Own-Operate-Transfer agreement with the Government. The new plant will produce an additional one million gallons of water per day, doubling output from the location. Utilities Minister, Hon. Melford Nicholas was flanked by APUA officials on a tour of the plant on Thursday. Terry Andrew reports.
