Guest host Trudy Gallant-Stokes talks with Wayne State’s Director of Community Affairs Stacie Clayton and the event's special guest, Santita Jackson – a political analyst, radio/TV host, vocalist and the daughter of civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson. Then, Gallant-Stokes gets the details on the newest round of Racial Equity Fund grants from United Way for Southeastern Michigan (UWSEM) President & CEO Dr. Darienne Hudson. The grants total $1 million and were awarded to BIPOC-led nonprofit organizations to help them address racial inequities in the region.
