‘We’re an amazing state’: Qld LNP Leader says state election time to ‘reflect on where things are’

Queensland Opposition Leader David Crisafulli says the October state election is an opportunity for Queenslanders to “reflect on where things are”. Voters in Queensland’s southeast will head to the polls on Saturday for two by-elections – Inala and Ipswich West. Inala was vacated by former premier Annastacia Palaszczuk when she stepped down in December. “October is the opportunity for every Queenslander to reflect on where things are,” Mr Crisafulli told Sky News Australia. “We’re an amazing state, and I see the opportunity for every part of this state. “The Labor Party have been in office for a decade … it’s been a long time. “We are the underdog.”
