CGTN stringer talked with some South Africans about the impact of joining the BRICS family. One resident, Nokukhanya Khanyi Zulu, believes that the BRICS cooperation mechanism has strongly promoted the development of member countries. She said, "South Africa has had many benefits from the BRICS alliance," noting that "more South African products have been exported to other countries, namely South African wine, which is growing in popularity, and rooibos tea."
