Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has hit back at the Albanese Labor government after they accused the Coalition of walking away from super with its new proposal. Her remarks come as new parents are set to be given the option to opt for cash over extra super on their paid parental leave due to a new Coalition proposal. “We trust parents to be able to make the choices that suit them and their families,” Ms Ley told Sky News Australia. “The option is still there under our plan for them to put that money into superannuation.”
