Wetland encroachers resist evictions - Nakuwadde wetland encroachers in running battles with police

Angry residents of Nakuwadde Bira have set up roadblocks and checkpoints to catch anyone they suspect to be NEMA officials issuing restoration orders. The residents nearly lynched one passerby whom they believed to be involved in their eviction. Meanwhile, in Nasere-Gganda, the police were engaged in running battles with residents.
