WFP set to strengthen climate resilience programmes in Zimbabwe

The World Food Programme (WFP) has outlined plans to strengthen climate resilience programmes in rural communities through shock responsiveness. According to WFP Country Director for Zimbabwe Ms Barbra Clemens, the humanitarian agency will also expand the climate insurance pay outs for Zimbabwe which will be utilised to support vulnerable families in case of natural disasters such as drought.
