Bolivia’s President Luis Arce denied accusations on Thursday, June 27, that he was behind an attempted coup against his government in order to garner political support. He has said former army chief who led the foiled coup on Wednesday acted on his own. Meantime, Bolivian officials said on Friday that four more military officers allegedly linked to the failed coup were arrested.
