A swarm of insects was released by group 'Trans Kids Deserve Better' at a conference of the LGB Alliance last week. Described by some as transphobic, LGB Alliance says it supports the rights of lesbian, gay and bisexual people, which it claims are threatened by ‘gender ideology’. Police are investigating the incident but say no arrests have been made. LGB Alliance's CEO said the 'attempted sabotage speaks volumes about our opponents' adding 'gender identity ideologists have infested the LGB movement, bullying and silencing anyone who disagrees with them.'
