What is the transgender guidance for schools?

Long-awaited transgender guidance for schools is set to be published after being delayed since the summer. The non-statutory guidance will address children who want to change their gender, including using a different pronoun, changing their appearance, and wearing a different uniform - known as social transitioning. It's expected to advise against a blanket ban on children socially transitioning at school, but suggest that teachers don't have a duty to allow it.
