What to expect from Bela-JC sequel '100 Awit Para Kay Stella'

Fans of the romance film "100 Tula Para Kay Stella" have something exciting to look forward to as its much-anticipated sequel, "100 Awit Para Kay Stella," is officially in the works. In an interview on Wednesday (October 9), actress Bela Padilla expressed her excitement about the upcoming project where she will co-star anew with JC Santos. "Very excited kami and happy kasi parang ilang years na hinihingi ng viewers 'yung sequel... Iyon 'yung unang movie na ginawa ko na masakit or mapanakit kaya I think nagkaroon talaga siya ng following," Padilla said. "Officially, two days ago sinabihan kami na confirmed na 'yung sequel. Nag-pitch na sila sa amin ni JC." While the plot details are still being kept under wraps, Padilla shared that the sequel will continue the story of Stella and Fidel, seven years after the events of the first film. "Very vague pa 'yung nakuwento sa amin, synopsis pa lang... Pero siyempre magtutuloy na 'yung kwento ni Stella at Fidel. Seven years ago kasi 'yung '100 Tula Para Kay Stella' so 'yung '100 Awit Para Kay Stella' mangyayari ng present time. Makikita natin ano na naging buhay nila after college, sa'n sila napunta, kung naging successful si Fidel." Padilla is also looking forward to reuniting with Santos, with whom she co-starred in several other projects. "Si JC naman hindi kami nag-stop na magtrabaho together. Ang dami na, parang naka anim, pitong movie na kami JC, so lagi naman ako masaya 'pag katrabaho ko siya, kasi komportable kami sa isa't isa."
