Retired Major Jessica Alupo, the Vice President of Uganda, has expressed her gratitude to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for complementing the government’s efforts by establishing projects that benefit the community. She made these remarks during the commissioning of three significant projects in the Katakwi-Teso Sub-region, which include a fully constructed hatchery, a solar-powered irrigation system, and a modern valley dam for animals. The Vice President urged the communities of Katakwi, Ongongoja, Palam, Magoro, and Toroma sub-counties, where these projects have been established, to utilize them for their development.
