Why Biden choose 'mediocre and hopeless' Kamala Harris to be his VP in the first place

The Australian Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan has weighed in on why US President Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris as his running mate back in 2020. Mr Sheridan claimed the reason was not just to “tick an identity box” but because she was also so “mediocre”. “He chooses Kamala Harris to tick identity boxes, but he also chose her because she was so medico as presidents very often do,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “Biden chose Kamala Harris knowing how mediocre and hopeless she was.”
