Jemaah Islamiyah – the armed group behind some of Southeast Asia's deadliest terror attacks including the 2002 Bali bombings – has disbanded. The group says it is ready to contribute to Indonesia’s progress, pledging to align its educational curriculum with mainstream Islamic beliefs.
