Wicked star Cynthia Erivo accused of ‘ruining the experience’ of new film for fans

‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield claims Wicked star Cynthia Erivo has “ruined the experience” of the film for some of the broadway musical fans. “I hate when people take themselves too seriously and that’s the definition of Cynthia throughout this promotion of the film,” she told Sky News host Rita Panahi. Ms Schofield’s remarks come as the two main stars of the much-anticipated cinema adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, have been widely mocked for the way they’ve promoted their new film.
