A fast-moving brush fire exploded over 14,000 acres in California on Wednesday, burning homes, cars and prompting evacuations amid a red flag warning from the National Weather Service. Ventura County remains under an "extremely critical" wildfire warning while firefighters struggle to gain an edge on the Mountain Fire, which is currently 0% contained. At least two individuals have been transferred to hospitals for smoke inhalation, the Ventura County Fire Chief said during a press briefing Wednesday evening.
