Will an African City ever host Olympic Games?

The 1995 Rugby World Cup announced South Africa to the globe, as a capable host. Since then the country has been able to host multiple sporting events, most notably the 2010 FIFA World Cup. These events, while costly to put together, have positive spin-offs to a country's tourism industry.
