Windies Out ICC Under-19 World Cup

The West Indies Under-19s will not move on to the Semi Final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup after a no result against Australia. The young Aussies were under pressure at 87 for 5 but were rescued by Sam Konstas who scored a rescuing 108. Nathan Edward's bowling consistency continued as he took 3 wickets for 32 runs. Australia finished on 227 for 8 from their 50 overs. The West Indies began their chase under dark skies and at 24 for 2, those dark clouds opened and completely washed out play. Third place Windies, on five points, needed a win to advance. Australia and South Africa will now move on to the Semi Final round.
