Windies to host South Africa in T20 int'l series
West Indies will host South Africa in a three-match T20 international series starting this afternoon at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago. This will be the third time for year that the teams will face each other. The Windies first won the T20 series prior to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup but then lost to the proteas at the Super Eight stage of the big event that was hosted in the Caribbean. Windies Vice Captain Roston Chase says it is time to settle the score. West Indies have won four of their last five T20 series and in the ICC Men's T20 team rankings, they are ranked fourth, while South Africa are fifth. Windies Skipper Rovman Powell emphasised what Coach Daren Sammy had said earlier this week that the building process for the 2026 T20 World has already begun. The first T20 bowls off at 3 p.m. Subscribe to CBC News: cbcbarbados Connect with the CBC News Barbados Website: https://www.cbc.bb/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CBCNews.bb/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cbcnewsbarb...
