Women Entrepreneurship Symposium
The Boss Lady Project is inspiring women entrepreneurs to break into the Export Market. Jason John tells us about the project, an initiative led by the Ministry of Sport and Community Development that seeks to empower women through skills training, personal development, and entrepreneurship. The Boss Lady Project continues as the Ministry of Sport and Community Development hosted a one-day export symposium ahead of the graduation ceremony on Thursday. This project has benefited over 85 women throughout Trinidad and Tobago via its female empowerment and entrepreneurship programme. According to the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Sport and Community Development, Florette Clarke, this project also offers crucial access to resources and markets, helping participants to establish meaningful business relationships and create sustainable livelihoods.
